ballon rockets

during science today we were learning about newtons three laws of physics we were learning about the third law we found that if we have a small balloon the faster the balloon went further.

What did you learn I learnt that the less air in the balloon the further it goes

I observed how the balloon went as far as it did and how it flew

What will you do next time I will put less air in the balloon so that the balloon will go further

 

Lava Lamp

in science today we were learning about lava lamps and how to make them we put a pil in the oil and the air/carbon dioxide will float up to the top then all the way down I found it hard to chose a color with my group. we didn't really like how yellow looked though. I found it easy to slightly dunk the cotton bud into the colored milk. I really enjoyed making the lava lamps and adding food coloring Next time I will get a better color so that it makes the oil look more cool.

bath bombs

in science we Were learning about bath bombs and the science behind 1 cup of baking soda 1/2 cup of citric acid 1/2 of epsom salt -1 tsp of water 1 tsp of olive oil/ coconut oil/ almond oil 2-3 drops of food coloring. I found it hard to mix the ingredients with the food coloring beaceuse I left it to long I found it easy to pour half of the ingredients in to the bowl I really enjoyed making bath bombs because I gave my mum the bath bomb on mothers day. Next time I will do other colors then blue and green because they are my favorite colors.

 When a bath bomb comes in contact with water, the baking soda and citric acid react to make carbon dioxide bubbles. This is an acid–base reaction, where baking soda (also called sodium bicarbonate) is a weak base and citric acid is a weak acid.

Earthquake

  

• We were learning about how to write a good sounding recount .my recount is about the time there was a massive earthquake. this is describing what we did and how we felt in this situation.

• I found it easy to find decent backgrounds for my slides

• I found it challenging to ad detailed stems that match my blog post

• Next time I will Challenge myself and ad longer and more deatailed stems to my blog post

I found it hard to think of the best logo for me at school

I found it easy to design the fitting logo for me

I really enjoyed polylining my logo with detail

Next time I will think of a more detailed logo at school

sun flower

 

• We were learning about sun flowers and how they follow the sun. feeling and holding the sun flower and how it was slowly dying the pedals were as soft as silk.

• I found it easy to write some descriptive words to describe the sun flower

• I found it challenging to write a sentence

• Next time I will write more descriptive sentences and more rich
