The fun run

At awapuni we did the great awapuni fun run with mud hay bails slip n slide and much more. I liked when we jumped into the mud pit because they made it deeper this year I also liked the slip n slide were I did a knee slide and a slide tackle 

we had to run under a tarpaulin and after into a chair maze. 

Favourite food

 In writing today we were writing about our favorite foods. my favourite food is lasagna because when the smell of the cheese hits you its breathtaking. The crunch that hits you when you take a bite is amazing. The combination of cheeses  and the mince is mind blowing.

Natural disaster

 What did you learn I learnt how natural disasters start. how deadly they are and how much damage they can do to buildings houses mountains and other things

What did you enjoy I enjoyed learning about persuasive writing and natural disasters and how we could be safe during a natural disaster

What was challenging it was challenging to find good background. the right font the right font size. and the right polyline to match my topic.

What was easy it was easy to copy the embed code to my blog so that you can see my writing

What will you do next time I will put less of my opinion and more reasons/facts.

 What did I learn I learnt that squirrels are really really good at climbing trees

What was challenging for you I found adding a lot of detail hard with all the distractions around me

 What did you learn I learnt that guy fawkes tried to kill a king but he gets caught with  a group so they ended up executing him as a punishment  

What did you enjoy I enjoyed  trying to beat all the other post's that I have done with detail

What was challenging I found that the link was not  working so that was anoying

Amp show

The show. Me and my family were going to the amazing amp show. We were all excited to go on all the rides... My brother was the most excited out of all of us because he has never been to the amp show. We all arrived and we were ready to go on the rides. My favorite ride was the SCREAM MACHINE! it was all my favorite ride since I was seven so I asked if i could go on the great SCREAM MACHINE! And my parents said drum roll…….yes so I ran straight to the line and waited. and waited and waited and waited. Until finally It was my turn to go on the amazing ride. I hopped on my seat and waited for it to start. Then suddenly i heard a microphone and it said three...two...one… goooo! The ride started and we went up and down and up and down we were in a loop. Then we suddenly slowed down and the ride ended. we all jumped off. Then was the next ride the GRAVITRON I wanted to say no and move on but I couldn’t so I lined up and got on almost instantly and then the ride started in five seconds we probably span around twenty times it was so fast I felt like I was floating

Hangi PEELING THE POTATOES we Were starting to peel the potatoes and kumara... It peeled so smooth And slowly the shavings went off one by one by one until there was no more skin on the potatoe5 hangi the day had come. Today we are having a Hangi with are buddys. The smell was delightful, with all the chicken kumara\sweet potatoes. rice Potatoes and much more. We all lined up for the hangi with are buddys And all got what we wanted one by one all went away and ate. The food was delicious. The chicken made my mouth water. It was soooo good.

the environment is my responsibility

We were learning about persuasive writing about  the environment my responsibility and what we can recycle and what we can't recycle.

 I found it easy to wright about the environment because I already  knew a lot of facts on the environment  I found it challenging to do nothing. i found it quite easy to wright about 

 Next time I will do more reasershing  on the facts .

the stream was fast but silent.

 stream was bubley.

Low tide.

Leafs crunching on the banks.

Trees swaying left and right.

Sound of gum boots splashing in the water.

Kids screaming with joy.

The smell of food.

Shimmering sun shining on the river.

Clear shiny stream.

Mageistic see through water.

Super slippery moss on the bottom of the stream.

Rocks super slippery on the bottom of the river.

Sound of the river moving.

Sound of kids playing in the water.

The feeling of water splashing on my face

We were learning about environmental poems about what were we had been with an amazing community and environment that cares for the earth

I found it easy to transfer my writing from my book to my chromebook and put it on my blog and post it.

I found it challenging to think of a quality poem that would be not to long or to short

Next time I will will add more rich words in my writing so it's not as boring

                         Wild lab

On & Tuesday I was getting ready for the amazing wild lab. So I shut my eyes and when I woke up. Im LATE FOR THE WILD LAB I yelled. Do I have everything I  will miss out on? The wild lab will get left behind. Then I look at the time it was four in the morning so I go back to sleep...  and When I woke up ITS SEVEN FORTY then I started to worry ‘im ‘LATE FOUR WILD LAB’ and then this is when it wanted to go back to sleep. But I did not go back to sleep. Instead I packed everything in my bag and left. Somehow I made it to school on time and got on the bus And left.

We were on the bus and all the others on the bus were sometimes singing, not that it wasn't good. It just went on for ages and it gave me a headache and no one likes a headache.

It was invertebrates time at the wild lab. It was around 11.35. So we And my invertebrate is called venomous. You can find it in the only the deepest rivers and the dirtiest rivers because it does not like to be seen. & lives for ten years in the water and 2 weeks out of it and die on christmas day and die before they get to 5o meters the longest they ever grow is 20 meters so it is still long so I wonder if a real animal looked like how I described it.

now It was time to go mountain climbing and we were A loud sticks and I made A great choice not to bring one. Wait no that was not a good idea. Anyway we went up the great amazing mountain of the wild lab and then we ran all the down.

                        

We were learning about writing long paragraphs. & publishing recounts

I found it easy to think of ideas for the writing that I put on the internet and the choise to the things that I do put on the internet.

i found it challenging to think of every individual idea on the paragraphs that are in my writing .

next time I will try think of more ideas for my writing to challenge my self when I do my writing.

We were learning about report writing.  I found it easy to transfer my doc to a slide.  I found it challenging to think of what to say in my report.  Next time I will add more detail.

Matariki 

Make a kite.Stars disappear in may and reappear in june Some believe there are nine stars. Some people believe there are seven stars. 

And every year Matariki gets more important to people.

Matariki is a big bright beautiful star in the night sky in June .If the stars are bright  it will be a good year  7 houses where the spirits go when you pass.

Have a Bound fire with family in the morning.

  have a feast Have a feast/haingi  with whanau.

Make a kite for you and family.

Carving and weaving/ a design.

Planting is a good way to celebrate matariki. 

Do you plant crops on matariki?

Some people wake up early to see matariki shining bright in the night sky and have a feast/kai   

How do you celebrate matariki?.

There are 7-9 stars within the cluster 

we see nine or seven but there is hounders looking through a telescope because with the naked eye  we see seven or nine but there are small ones. In the night sky that people can’t see. From down on earth.
