Olympic values

today in team toroa we were learning about the Olympic values these are the medals that I have created. I didn't know what to do for the middle medal so I tryed to do the NZ flag but it didn't fit in the medal so I did the stars in stead. the last fortnight our inquiry was the tokyo olympics values in the sports. friendship respect excellence. what sports would you like to see in the olympic games? 

coin drop

 today in science we were doing an experiment called the coin drop we you will need coins small paper and a cup. you place the cup down then you put the card and put it on the cup and put the coins on the card. then what you will need to do is flick the card and the coins should fall in. we were trying to see if different coins had a better outcome we used 5 cent 50 cent 20 cent and 10 cents

egg drop

 in science today we were experimenting the egg drop were we you have a cup a plate a toilet role and obviously an egg. you will need to fill the cup about half way and then put the paper plate on the the cup. next get the toilet role on the plate. then the egg side ways on the toilet role. to make the experiment to work you need to hit the plate with a spring motion so you need to pull your hand back after you hit the plate so that the egg will fall into the water. to make it hard on your self try this experiment with different sized egg. but eventually the egg will crack and you'll get sad causes you were going to make an omelet and you will forever be sad jk. 

M&M stacking

 in science today were M&M stacking and stone stacking we were trying to stack 5 M&Ms. we started with a practice by stacking stones it was way harder than it looked.  some people have luck on there side and they got 4 or 3 but the Maori all blacks tied with the guinness world record of an amazing 5 the highest I got was three

cold air balloon pt2

 

in science today we were learning about newtons there laws and chemical reactions the reaction we tried was what would happen if we put baking soda and vinegar. I observed the reaction of the chemicals when they meet together. but I don't know why it would have that sort of reaction. we found it challenging to find the right size nozzle of the bottle and also to find the right ballon size. it was easy to fit the baking soda into the balloon so that it will go in the bottle. What to do next time is bring a pump bottle so that the experiment will go

better.

Natural disaster

 What did you learn I learnt how natural disasters start. how deadly they are and how much damage they can do to buildings houses mountains and other things

What did you enjoy I enjoyed learning about persuasive writing and natural disasters and how we could be safe during a natural disaster

What was challenging it was challenging to find good background. the right font the right font size. and the right polyline to match my topic.

What was easy it was easy to copy the embed code to my blog so that you can see my writing

What will you do next time I will put less of my opinion and more reasons/facts.

cold air balloon

 in science today we were learning about cold air balloons were we put baking soda into a balloon and vinegar in a bottle so then there was a chemical reaction

I observed the experiment we watched showing us how to do the experiment.  

I found it hard to think of what chemical reacts that way to baking soda.

I found it easy to  insert the video into my blog to show other people how to do what we did

next time I will work harder and avoid the distractions around me.
